Mid-afternoon, we dropped off the bus at Buckingham Palace where lots more photographs were taken. The fencing, gates, and shields are far more ornate than they usually appear in films and photographs which I have seen and I guess that there may have been some recent tizzing up. The palace is a long way behind the gates. We were much impressed by the huge memorial in front of the palace.

London Day 2 (9 June) continued - Buckingham Palace
