Departing Singapore
Hi! We are now at Singapore Airport about to board our flight to Heathrow, London. We enjoyed the sights of Singapore but it was really very very humid. Best thing we saw was the botatonical gardens and I will post some of the photos to our album soon. The orchids there were really beautiful. We did not see as much as we wished to at the gardens. We also did a harbour cruise but it was not all that successful - poor food was the main problem.

Ah the "Merlion" they have cleaned it up a bit since I last sat by it, no it was not me spewing up excess "Tiger beer" (Honest!)
ReplyDeletePoor Food in Singapore? you needed to try the Hawker centers, you get trad local food there from all cultures, yes even sushi (yuk)
Hot and Steamy.. Yes in the monsoon season it usually gets that way at around 18.00, dont fall in the flood drains, a common tourist activity..

Hi Vija and Paul
ReplyDeleteYou'll be in London by now and probably exhausted. How were your flights and how is the weather?
